Terms of Service

The service

Posh Invite lets you build a wedding website for free and publish it for a yearly fee. Drafts are free and unlimited. You must verify your email address before publishing. By publishing you agree to these terms.

Pricing, renewal & refunds

• Publishing a site costs US$12 per year per wedding, charged via Stripe (Merchant of Record — any applicable tax is included in the price shown).
• A published site stays live for one year from the publish or renewal date.
• You can renew for another year at the same fee. We'll email a reminder about 30 days before expiry.
• No refunds once a site is published or renewed — the service is delivered immediately — except where consumer law requires it; our payment provider, Stripe, handles those requests. If a publish or renewal payment is refunded in full, the paid time is removed and the site goes back to a draft (your content is kept).
• Promo codes give a discount on publishing or renewal (not the domain fee), can be used once per person per code, and must be entered before you pay — they can't be applied afterwards.
• Connecting your own domain costs a one-time US$7 fee per domain; the domain itself is bought and renewed at your registrar. If we can't add the domain when you pay (for example, it's already connected elsewhere), we refund the fee automatically. Once connected, it isn't refundable. If a domain never connects within 30 days, we release it and you can connect a domain again for free.

Expiry & deletion

• If you don't renew, your site goes offline when its year ends.
• We keep your data for a 90-day grace period after expiry so you can renew and restore the site, or download your photos and RSVP list.
• After the grace period, an un-renewed site and its uploaded images are permanently deleted from our storage. This cannot be undone.

Your content

You own the content you upload and are responsible for having the right to use it. You grant us a limited licence to host and display it for the purpose of running your site. You must not upload unlawful, infringing, or abusive content, and you are responsible for how you handle your guests' RSVP data.

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, every photo and other item you upload — including photos taken by your photographer. If someone makes a claim against us because of content you uploaded, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses arising from that claim.

If we receive a notice that content on your site infringes someone's rights, we may remove it without warning you first, and we'll tell you why so you can respond. We may close the accounts of people who repeatedly upload content they don't have the right to use. See our Copyright & reporting page.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service. We may suspend sites that violate these terms or applicable law.

Availability & disclaimer

We aim for high availability but provide the service "as is" without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected site.
