Copyright & reporting
Last updated 31 October 2026.
Our approach
Couples build their wedding websites on Posh Invite and upload their own photos. Under our Terms, they may only upload photos they own or have permission to use — including their photographer's. If you believe something on a Posh Invite site uses your work without permission, tell us and we'll look into it quickly.
How to report
Email copyright@poshinvite.com with:
- your full name and how to contact you (email, and phone or postal address);
- a description of the work you own (for example, the photo and where it was first published);
- the exact Posh Invite page address where it appears, and which photo;
- a statement that you are the copyright owner, or authorised to act for them;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised by you, your agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate;
- your agreement that we may share your notice (including your name) with the couple who uploaded it;
- your signature (typing your full name is fine).
Incomplete notices may slow us down, so please include everything above.
What happens next
We aim to review notices within 2 business days. If a notice is valid, we remove the photo and let the couple know why, so they can respond. We may remove content without warning the couple first.
If your photo was removed
If you're the couple and you believe the photo is yours to use (for example, your photographer gave you permission), reply to copyright@poshinvite.com explaining why, with any proof you have. We may restore it, and we may share your reply with the person who reported it.
Repeat infringement
We may close the accounts of people who repeatedly upload content they don't have the right to use.
Your information
We use the details in a notice only to handle that claim, and delete them when they're no longer needed. See our Privacy Policy.
